Arts and Crafts Activity Day

👩‍🎨 We are excited to invite you to the next Installment of the Grow Green E15 programme. 

Come along to enjoy an afternoon of art, crafting and exploring in the beautiful natural surrounding of Abbey Gardens 🎉

We will have members of the community running various creative activities throughout the day which is open for anyone to get involved with.

12 pm - The wonderful Lynne will be hosting sign writing and collaging activities. The Signs will be put up around the garden once dried at the end of the day.

2pm - Vickie will be hosting Vegetable water colouring - Commonly used in dyeing processes and pigments for centuries, vegetables and plants are a great sustainable source of colours, but did you know that you can create watercolours from cabbage or onion skins at home? A simple boiling process (and a little bit of chemistry magic) can get you a variety of colours to paint with, as well as keep your veggies edible for later - cutting two carrots with one knife!

Spring Cafe will be open 11-5 as usual.
