Welcome to Abbey Gardens, a community garden in West Ham
surrounding part of the ruins of a
12th century abbey.

There are free garden club sessions and new gardeners are always welcome. The garden is open to visitors from dawn till dusk.

We’ve been busy at the garden and there are activities and events coming up:

Building a bug hotel, Saturday 14 May

At our Garden Club session on on Saturday 14 May 10am-3pm, Petra, zoologist and Abbey Gardens volunteer, will be showing us how to build a perfect habitat for bugs.

Summer Fair, Saturday 11 June 1pm-4pm

Open Garden Squares Weekend, 11 and 12 June 10am – 5pm
