Welcome to Abbey Gardens, a community garden in West Ham
surrounding part of the ruins of a
12th century abbey.

There are free garden club sessions and new gardeners are always welcome. The garden is open to visitors from dawn till dusk.

Garden Work To Do

Hello all! The days are beautiful and the rain has done lots of watering, but we still need your helping hands with this list:

  • Clearing beds & sowing new seeds
  • Potting on seedlings
  • Weeding paths and clearing edges
  • Harvesting nettles and thyme to dry for tea!
  • General tidy up
